A-State Men's Golf Claims Top-Five Finish at Duck Commander Intercollegiate

EL DORADO, Ark. (10/31/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team claimed a top-five finish at the Duck Commander Intercollegiate after shooting a third-round 316 to claim fifth place, and close out the fall portion of its schedule Tuesday at the Mystic Creek Golf Club.

Upon completing the 54-hole tournament, the Red Wolves took sole possession of fifth place today after finishing tied for the position after the second round yesterday and finished with a total of 930.

A-State was paced by two players who finished among the top-20 golfers in the tournament. Senior Tanner Napier finished 19th after shooting a third-round 77 to post a 233 total.
