SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (9/10/19) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team finished its 2019-20 season-opening tournament with a fifth-place finish at the Payne Stewart Memorial after posting a final round score of 299 Tuesday afternoon at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Mo.
A-State carded a three-round total of 902 (+50) to register the sixth-place showing and was eight strokes behind fourth place Wichita State. Oral Roberts totaled a final round 276 (-8) to post a final total of 873 (+21) to take home the team title. Host Missouri State and two-round leader UTEP tied for second with a total score of 884 (+32).
