CONWAY, Ark. (11/19/25) – Arkansas State women's basketball (2-3, 0-0 SBC) was outscored in the first quarter by 14 and could not recover in a 81-58 setback at Central Arkansas (2-2, 0-0 ASUN) Wednesday night inside the Farris Center.

Zyion Shannon led the Red Wolves in scoring for the third straight game, with 20 points on 33 percent shooting (6-for-18), going 4-for-12 from deep (33 percent). It marked the second 20 point performance of the season for Shannon over the last three games with a season-high 22 coming at Missouri. Mimi McCollister added 12 points on 50 percent shooting (4-for-8), and made all three of her shots from the charity stripe.
