LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (9/6/25) – The Arkansas State football team (1-1, 0-0 SBC) fell behind early and could not recover in a 56-14 setback versus Arkansas (2-0, 0-0 SEC) on Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium.
A-State was led by junior quarterback Jaylen Raynor, who finished 21-of-33 passing for 125 yards with a touchdown while adding another 38 yards on the ground. A-State's defense collected a pair of interceptions, but it wasn't enough to counter an explosive Arkansas offense.
The Red Wolves surrendered touchdowns on the first two drives, with the opposition tallying 155 yards on eight plays to move ahead 14-0.
