MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (4/18/17) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team continued play Tuesday at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, shooting a second-round 313 to give the Red Wolves a combined 606 through the three-day tournament’s first two rounds and place it sixth among 10 teams.
A-State completed Monday’s first round with a 293 and entered today in fourth place, but was one of seven teams that saw its second-round score rise as it dropped two places in the standings. The Red Wolves will enter tomorrow’s third-and-final round five strokes behind fifth-place Appalachian State and within 10 of fourth-place Little Rock.
