FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (11/11/2016) – The Arkansas State women’s cross country team closed the 2016 season with a 17th place finish at the NCAA South Central Regional Friday.
“The team ran solid and was able to edge past Sun Belt foe UT-Arlington reversing and improving their placing from conference,” said A-State cross country coach Kyle Chandler. “With this solid outing, this young team certainly gains some momentum going into the track season and experience that will serve them well for next fall's cross country campaign.”
Freshman Elizabeth Gillette again paced the Red Wolves to close out a strong freshman campaign.
