COLUMBIA, Mo. (10/2/18) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team shot a second-round 302 Tuesday at the 11th annual Johnie Imes Invitational, giving the squad a combined 602 that has it in 10th place among 13 teams with 18 holes of competition remaining.
The Red Wolves entered the day in ninth place after posting a first-round 300 Monday to open the 54-hole tourney being played at The Club at Old Hawthorne. A-State’s opening-round total was its third lowest single-round score of the season.
Arkansas State leads UMKC, Bradley and Little Rock, while it sits just four strokes back of both Northern Illinois and Illinois State, which are tied for eighth place.
