(5/20/25) – Arkansas State baseball (26-28, 14-16 SBC) battled throughout the night against Georgia Southern (28-29, 13-17 SBC), but an early nine-run deficit was too much to overcome in a 13-8 defeat on Tuesday night at the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship presented by Troy University inside Riverwalk Stadium.
Gavin Galy (3-2) made his eighth start of the season, surrendering three runs (all earned) on three hits and two walks over 0.2 innings pitched.
Ashton Quiller (3-for-5) led the bats while four additional Red Wolves recorded multi-hit performances.
