JONESBORO, Ark. (11/2/17) – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team had three players score in double figures and got 53 points from its bench as it claimed an 83-52 exhibition victory over Arkansas-Monticello Thursday night at First National Bank Arena.
Playing their first of two exhibition games, the Red Wolves utilized their entire roster with every player seeing at least 12 minutes of action. Thirteen of A-State’s 14 players scored, led by sophomore guard Starr Taylor with 12 points. Sophomore guard Jada Ford and junior guard Akasha Westbrook added 10 points each, while freshman forward Peyton Martin followed with nine.
