A-State Bowling Second at Warhawk Classic

KENOSHA, Wis. (11/11/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team finished day two of the Warhawk Classic in second place, going 3-2 for the day, at Sheridan Lanes in Kenosha, Wis.

The Red Wolves (25-11) began the five games of traditional matches strong as the team beat No. 4 Vanderbilt 1,030-917 behind a 225 from Leah Glazer, but took a loss in their next match as No. 2 Nebraska out pinned them 1,076-999, despite a 279 from Jordan Richard. A-State regained its composure defeating No. 14 Saint Francis University 1,031-815 as four players rolled 200+, led by Julia Huren’s 229.
