A-State Bowling Ranked Second in Latest NTCA Poll

JONESBORO, Ark. (2/1/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team was ranked second in the latest edition of the National Tenpin Coaches Association Poll that was released Wednesday afternoon.

This edition of the poll considered all the action prior to Arkansas State’s fourth-place finish in last weekend’s Prairie View A&M Invitational, which saw Jordan Richard take home the MVP award. A-State had a 38-12 record at the time of the voting but now has a 45-19 mark.

The Red Wolves tallied 1,202 points in the poll with four first place votes to rank behind Nebraska’s 1,263 points and 23 first-place nods.
