SMYRNA, Tenn. (3/19/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team couldn’t overcome McKendree as the Red Wolves lost to the Bearcats twice on Sunday, including the championship match of the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
A-State (79-31) began the day with a match against the top-ranked team in the country in McKendree, but started off slow with a 212-188 loss to begin the match. The Red Wolves bowled better in game two with a 211, but couldn’t top the Bearcats’ score of 214. Down 2-0, Arkansas State dropped the next two games 209-193 and 225-199 to lose the match 4-0.
