NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (2/13/16) – Competing in its first spring tournament this season, the Arkansas State women’s golf team completed the Texas State Invitational’s first round Monday in 16th place after shooting a 326 at The Bandit Golf Club.
Today’s play was suspended in the latter stages of the second round due to darkness. Round two will resume at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, immediately followed by the third and final round. All groupings have five or fewer or holes to play in round two.
The Red Wolves were led by sophomore Beth Ann Compton, who posted a 75 to place her tied for 19th.
