A-State Begins Play at Tiger Invitational

OPELIKA, Ala. (3/5/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a 287 Sunday at the Tiger Invitational, completing the two-day tournament’s first round tied for fourth place among 19 teams.

Second-round play also began today, but was suspended due to darkness with A-State’s five players having completed somewhere between the first 6-9 holes at the Grand National Lakes Course. The Red Wolves ended the day in fifth place through holes 24-27 of the 54-hole tourney.

The Red Wolves were led by freshman Zan Luka Stirn, who fired a 6-under 66 that is the lowest single-round score by an Arkansas State player this season.
