BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (10/10/16) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the Mountaineer Intercollegiate’s first round Monday tied for 11th place among 14 teams after recording a 302 at the Pete Dye Golf Course.

While the two-day tournament was originally scheduled to feature 36 holes of competition today, a weather delay this morning forced a late start and the second round couldn’t be completed. The Red Wolves were unofficially 7-over par through 14 holes in the second round when play was suspended.

A-State ended the first round tied with Toledo, only one stroke behind Marshall and within seven strokes of fifth-place Mississippi State.
