JONESBORO, Ark. (5/14/16) – Arkansas State rallied from six runs down to defeat Texas State 9-6 Saturday afternoon at Tomlinson Stadium to the weekend series from the Bobcats.
The Red Wolves (24-25, 11-15 SBC) scored three runs each the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to complete the comeback after a pair of defensive errors allowed Texas State (26-25, 13-13) to put up six runs in the fourth inning and put A-State behind early in the game.
Jake Bakamus started the rally with a three-run blast in the sixth inning to cut the deficit in half.
