The Arkansas football program has never been boring, but its latest chapter is pretty crazy even by its own standards.
Not only have the Razorbacks fired their head coach five games into a season, which is far from unusual in this era of college football, but they subsequently tabbed an interim coach who had previously been fired from the same role amid controversy.
As if that wasn’t enough, Bobby Petrino — who, literally and figuratively, ran the program into a ditch 13 years ago — is a candidate for the permanent job…according to athletics director Hunter Yurachek himself.
