Arkansas is entering the home stretch on its search for the next football coach – or at least it seems that way.
While the exact timeline is still uncertain, athletics director Hunter Yurachek appears to be narrowing in on a smaller pool of candidates after initially casting a wide net that included personally talking to more than 20 coaches.
Not all of them have been serious contenders to replace Sam Pittman, but those who are have moved into the formal interview process.
Interim head coach Bobby Petrino is the only candidate Yurachek has publicly acknowledged, doing so back in September when he was elevated into his current role.
