Yurachek Has Backed Himself Into a Corner With What Looks To Be Just One Way Out

It is not likely that Arkansas will make a coaching change after four games and 22 days. And I, for one, think Sam Pittman should keep his job until the end of the season.

Why? Because his boss deserves the axe first.

Hunter Yurachek’s seven-year tenure as athletic director featured all its highlights within the first four years. Since that time, the personnel victories within the University of Arkansas’ beleaguered athletic department have been infrequent at most.

Did he technically hire John Calipari? I guess. Most Razorback followers and writers attribute that move — which only happened after Yurachek publicly soured on Eric Musselman — to the largesse of John Tyson.
