Colloquially known as “Coach Prime,” he carries an unabashed confidence and swagger that is unique among coaches in an industry promoting tradition and conformity. That started long before he put on the headset. Before he was known as Coach Prime, he carried the nickname “Prime Time” during his playing days thanks to his highlight-reel interceptions and high-steps into the end zone en route to the Hall of Fame.
Sanders’ flashiness rubs a lot of folks the wrong way, but many others love him for those very same reasons.
