FAYETTEVILLE — On a warmer-than-usual December afternoon, with temperatures nearing the 60s, Colby Hale was out on a plot of land with his children. Between pauses to start four-wheelers and dish out instructions — being a father and a coach will do that — he spared some time to talk about the Arkansas soccer season.
His 14th year in charge of the Razorbacks was another memorable one, adding his fifth SEC regular-season title for a program once thought of as the SEC’s doormat and advancing to the NCAA Tournament second round. Arkansas finished the season 10-5-4.
