FAYETTEVILLE — This past year has continued to bring more changes to college athletics and with Arkansas football struggling through a 2-10 season, the focus on why was often debated this season.

In the past, most of the finger-pointing was directed at the head coach and staff and this year it was no different, but the lack of funding for the program was also a topic of discussion.

Sources revealed Arkansas was near the bottom of the SEC in funding for recruiting and support staff along with salary pool for assistant coaches.

In August the first of two columns about the lack of funding was published.
