Ryan Silverfield’s first major test as Arkansas’ head coach just got a lot more interesting.
It’s been known for a while that the Razorbacks would be facing a first-year head coach when they travel to Utah on Sept. 12, but with Friday’s reports of Kyle Whittingham taking the Michigan job, more roster and staff shakeup than expected is on the horizon.
The Utes promoted longtime assistant Morgan Scalley shortly after Whittingham stepped down on Dec. 12 in what appeared to be a smooth transition. However, the quick resurfacing of his predecessor has thrown a wrench into things.
