One of the state’s top young quarterbacks with a Razorback family legacy will face a couple of future Arkansas players on Friday.
Little Rock Christian sophomore quarterback Walker White (6-4, 220) will lead his Warriors (4-0) against visiting Maumelle (1-3), a squad that boasts Razorback offensive line commit Andrew Chamblee (6-6, 284) and defensive line pledge Nico Davillier (6-5, 275).
Little Rock Christian coach Eric Cohu reminded his team earlier this week that Friday night’s contest begins the time when teams earn the right to play for conference and state titles.
“We have had a very good nonconference outing and we’re 4-0 and happy about that, but as I reminded the team this morning before school, you have to win conference games to make the playoffs,” Cohu said.
