FAYETTEVILLE — During his radio show Wednesday night at the Catfish Hole restaurant, Bobby Petrino said the Arkansas football team has pieced together the best two-day stretch of practices since he took over as interim coach.
Petrino is hoping a good week of preparation can lead to the Razorbacks (2-6, 0-4 SEC) ending a six-game losing streak when they host Mississippi State on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Regardless of which team wins, one skid will come to a merciful end.
The Bulldogs (4-4, 0-4) have lost 16 SEC games in a row, dating to a 7-3 victory at Arkansas in October 2023.
