FAYETTEVILLE — Bobby Petrino can sense the Arkansas football team may be on the verge of a breakthrough moment this weekend.
Petrino made that much known during his weekly radio show Wednesday night at the Catfish Hole restaurant. He was accompanied by starting quarterback Taylen Green and defensive back Caleb Wooden.
Since taking over as interim head coach Sept. 28, Petrino has led the Razorbacks to a pair of narrow losses. Arkansas lost 34-31 at No. 17 Tennessee in his debut and 45-42 against No. 3 Texas A&M last weekend.
The Razorbacks (2-5, 0-3 SEC) have an opportunity to notch their first conference victory Saturday when they face an Auburn (3-4, 0-4) team searching for the same thing.
