FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman laid out what he thinks will be the determining factor against No. 17 Ole Miss this weekend during his radio show Wednesday night at the Catfish Hole restaurant.
In Pittman's eyes, Saturday’s 6 p.m. game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., will be decided by success on the ground.
“I think whoever has the most rushing yards will win the game,” Pittman said.
The sixth-year coach pointed to Arkansas (2-0, 0-0 SEC) and Ole Miss both coincidentally averaging 257.5 rushing yards per game. They are tied for second in the SEC and 17th nationally in rushing offense.
