What Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman said on his radio show ahead of Arkansas State game

FAYETTEVILLE — Sam Pittman understands the Arkansas football team’s decades-long tradition of traveling to play games in Little Rock may be going out with a bang Saturday.

Speaking on his weekly radio show at the Catfish Hole restaurant Wednesday night, the sixth-year head coach said he is expecting all 54,120 seats at War Memorial Stadium to be filled when his team takes on Arkansas State.

Pittman, the offensive line coach under former Arkansas coach Bret Bielema from 2013-15, has coached 7 games from the War Memorial sideline — 4 as an assistant and 3 as a head coach.
