It’s a near certainty that no two-win team this late in the season has ever been as good as this Arkansas squad. The numbers coming out of Arkansas’ one-point loss to LSU on Saturday make a strong case for it.
That puts Arkansas football fans a strange netherworld. Should they be proud that no team that has lost this much ever been so good? Should they wish Arkansas would lose more games like they did against Notre Dame so they could allow themselves to go numb, tune out and this time for real switch over to caring only about basketball?
