BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Kelsi Musick rolled into the Grand Bohemian Hotel sporting a black suit layering a old-school white sweater for her first SEC Media Day appearance as head coach of Arkansas women’s basketball.
It wasn’t the only attire she was wearing Tuesday.
Musick and the players who accompanied her — veteran guards Wyvette Mayberry and Taleyah Jones — came in wearing a chip on their shoulders.
The event was one day after being selected last in the SEC preseason media poll. It marked the second consecutive season the Razorbacks were slotted there.
“We’ll definitely use it as fuel,” Musick said.
