FAYETTEVILLE — A University of Arkansas football player, Demetrius “Dee” Walker, pleaded not guilty to a litany of drug and gun charges Friday in Washington County Circuit Court.
Walker, 21, is charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of Xanax with intent to deliver, delivery of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. All are felonies.
Walker was given an initial court date of Feb. 26 before Circuit Judge Joanna Taylor.
The 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force used a confidential informant to arrange a marijuana purchase from Walker, according to the preliminary arrest report.
