Arkansas defensive line commitment Briston Guidry had an outstanding senior season and helped his team to two state titles in three years.
Guidry, 6-3, 284, 4.90 and Metairie (La.) Rummel fell short for their third straight state championship Friday night in a 31-28 loss to Baton Rouge Catholic. Prior to the game, he had 86 tackles, 9 sacks, 7 tackles for loss, 7 quarterback hurries, 2 recovered fumbles and a blocked field goal.
ESPN rates Guidry the No. 18 defensive tackle and No. 146 overall prospect in the nation. He plans to officially visit the Hogs Jan.
