FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas added a commitment from a transfer infielder Friday.
Jordan Sprinkle, a shortstop from UC-Santa Barbara, announced his commitment to the Razorbacks in a post to his Twitter account. He completed his redshirt sophomore season with the Gauchos in 2022.
According to Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball, Sprinkle entered the NCAA transfer portal on June 8, three days after UCSB was eliminated by No. 2 overall seed Stanford in regional play.
In 2022, Sprinkle finished with a .285 batting average and .979 OPS, hit 3 home runs and drove in 35 runs in 56 games.
