When Arkansas football coach Ryan Silverfield arrived in Fayetteville, he attempted to make it clear he wasn’t the kind of guy to put up with nonsense.
Silverfield preached discipline, claimed to eschew catch-phrases and demanded players be on board with the new Arkansas culture. “I’m not into that corny sh*t,” he told players at the first team meeting.
Unfortunately for the Head Hog, on the job for less than a month, that culture isn’t yet established with so much roster turnover looming in the portal. And the catch-phrases? They’re all-in, baby.
The marketing train surrounding Silverfield hasn’t slowed in the honeymoon period.
