FAYETTEVILLE — University of Arkansas women’s Coach Lance Harter and men’s Coach Chris Bucknam were announced as SEC Cross Country Coaches of the Year by the conference office on Monday.
Taylor Ewert of Arkansas was named the SEC Women’s Freshman of the Year.
The Razorbacks swept the women’s and men’s SEC titles at the conference meet Oct. 30 in Baton Rouge, La.
Harter, who on Sunday was announced as part of the 2021 induction class for the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, was named SEC Coach of the Year for the 40th time, including 21 times for cross country, 11 for indoor track and field and 8 for outdoor track and field.
