FAYETTEVILLE - There are a couple of separate clusters in the Southeastern Conference when it comes to baseball.
At the top are Florida, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, a trio so far that has shown itself to be the class in the country. All three, actually, are ranked No. 1, 2, and 3 in the country.
Then comes another clump of SEC teams: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas and South Carolina. Four teams are separated in the rankings by just seven spots. Those last two, Arkansas and South Carolina, can create a more considerable gap after this weekend when the Razorbacks visit Columbia to face the Gamecocks to open league play.
