Tretola wins blocking award

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola is the co-winner of the Jacobs Trophy for the best blocker in the Southeastern Conference.

Tretola shared the award with Ryan Kelly of Alabama. He is the third Arkansas player to win the award and first since Jonathan Luigs in 2007.

Tretola was ranked 15th nationally on the final Schneider Scale list that assigns individual rankings to offensive linemen. He was named the SEC's offensive lineman of the week following a game against Tennessee and was named to the SEC coaches' all-conference team Tuesday.

He has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl next month.
