Minnesota extended an offer to Ft. Smith Northside athlete Kiondre Thomas this morning.
Thomas, who is committed to La. Tech, also has offers from Mississippi State, Arkansas State, Tulsa and Eastern Illinois. He'll attend Arkansas' Advanced camp on Saturday.
Ft. Smith Northside linebacker Deontre Hardwick also plans to attend the Arkansas camp.
College basketball coaches could make contact with sophomore prospects at 12:01 am Monday. Arkansas and several others called forward S.K. Shittu of Rogers Providence Christian Academy. Cornell called and extended an offer.
Shittu, 6-9, 193 pounds, has offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Tulsa and others while Arkansas is showing strong interest.
