FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas basketball made a pair of long-anticipated moves official Wednesday morning.
Scotty Thurman will move from the office and broadcast table on-court as an assistant for coach Mike Anderson. Thurman is taking spot of Matt Zimmerman, who is shifting into the director of operations role. Jeff Daniels, who was the previous director of operations, shifts into Thurman’s previous student-athlete development duties.
Assistant coaches Melvin Watkins and TJ Cleveland remain on-staff in the same roles.
“This is an opportunity for us to take full advantage of the strengths we have within our staff and restructure some duties,” Anderson said.
