The Money Arrangement Between Razorback Stars and Kobe Branham’s Camp Shows a Lot

FORT SMITH – From the Springdale Five to Fayetteville brothers Brandon and Austin Allen, recruits from the northwest corner of the state have long been a lynchpin for Arkansas football.

The most recent key Hog from Northwest Arkansas was wide receiver Isaiah Sategna, who finished third on the team with 491 receiving yards last year before transferring to Oklahoma. Bentonville wideouts Dequane Prevo and Blair Irvin, both Arkansas commits, will join former classmate and current sophomore CJ Brown on the roster next year.

But this season’s roster includes only two scholarship players native to NWA: the aforementioned Brown and offensive guard Kobe Branham, a Fort Smith Southside alum.
