FAYETTEVILLE — When he leads Arkansas into Neyland Stadium for his first game as interim head coach Saturday afternoon, Bobby Petrino will be without a key offensive weapon.

During the Razorbacks’ loss to Notre Dame, starting wide receiver Jalen Brown broke the fibula and tibia in his left leg, for which he’s already had successful surgery to repair. While the timeline for his return is unknown, the injury ends his season.

It’s a notable blow to Arkansas’ offense, as the Florida State transfer ranks third on the team with 12 receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns through five games.
