'That's part of it': Conway's Grayson Wilson embraces competition with second QB signee

CONWAY — Quarterback Grayson Wilson took the next step in his athletic career Wednesday when he signed a national letter of intent with Arkansas on the first day of the NCAA early signing period for football recruits.

Several of his teammates, family members, coaches and friends were on hand during a ceremony at the Conway High School field house.

The 6-3, 205-pound senior, who is ranked as a 4-star prospect and the No. 15 pocket-passing quarterback by ESPN, had offers from other schools such as Illinois and Pittsburgh.

Wilson verbally committed to the Razorbacks in April 2023 after he passed for more than 3,400 yards with 41 touchdowns and 2 interceptions during his junior season at Central Arkansas Christian.
