Sure, the on-field or on-court product at the professional level is better, the players and coaches more advanced, but nothing can capture the pageantry of the college game. Arkansas fans know this for a fact. There’s nothing better than a striped-out, packed house in Razorback Stadium or a raucous Bud Walton Arena. The players make boneheaded mistakes, and it’s not as pure and pristine as the pros, but that’s why we love it.
So when the fans are missing from the picture, a dormant atmosphere leaves behind a massive void.
