FAYETTEVILLE — They may be cheering for the No. 1 team in the country, but it didn’t take long for Texas baseball fans to start waving the white flag Thursday night.
The No. 11 Razorbacks used a pair of multi-run homers to build an early lead that they eventually grew to 9-0 against the top-ranked Longhorns in their series opener at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Carson Boles started the scoring with a two-run shot into the Hog Pen in the second and Cam Kozeal crushed a two-out, full-count pitch off the scoreboard for a three-run blast.
That made it 5-0, but Arkansas was far from done.
