FAYETTEVILLE — With nine trips already on his resume, Dave Van Horn is no stranger to taking teams to Omaha, but Sunday felt different for the longtime Arkansas coach.

The No. 3 seeded Razorbacks cruised to an 11-4 win over No. 14 seed Tennessee to cap a sweep of the Fayetteville Super Regional and punch their ticket back to the College World Series for the 12th time in school history.

Eight of those have been with Van Horn — who also took Nebraska twice — at the helm of his alma mater. This one clearly meant more to the 64-year-old, though, as he had to fight back tears when talking about his team with the media afterward.
