A passing cold spell by quarterback Taylen Green in the first half of the Arkansas football team’s 56-14 victory could have offered Arkansas State a chance to pull back into contention, but his rushing ability helped the Razorbacks pull away after a hot start Saturday evening in Little Rock.
The redshirt senior’s career-high 151 rushing yards — his first time with more than 100 through 15 games at Arkansas — were the fourth-most by a quarterback in program history. His 64-yard scoring run in the first quarter pushed the lead to 21-7 and was the longest by an Arkansas quarterback since Matt Jones in 2004.
