FAYETTEVILLE — Oklahoma City (Okla.) Heritage Hall three-star defensive tackle Melvin Swindle does not yet have a scholarship offer from Arkansas, but he would love to get one soon.
Swindle (6-1, 290) has offers from Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Kansas and Iowa State as well as interest from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and others.
He is Heritage Hall’s most coveted college prospect since former Oklahoma star and current New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard and former Stanford and Oklahoma State running back Barry Sanders.
“The process is ongoing,” Swindle said. “If Arkansas offers me, they would jump into my top two.
