FAYETTEVILLE — Conor Rae calls CJ Wall his summer brother.
Rae, an infielder from the Phoenix area, and Wall, a catcher who lives in Statesboro, Ga., are teammates for the Canes national travel team. They room together on the road and Rae even stayed at Wall’s old home in Florida.
“His family is like my second family,” Rae said.
Two of the latest players to commit to the Razorbacks’ 2027 recruiting class did not mean to visit Arkansas at the same time in mid-September. It just worked out that way — a coincidence, Rae said.
They were originally scheduled to come to Fayetteville on the weekend of a home football game.
