FAYETTEVILLE — The connections between the Arkansas and Mississippi State football teams — when it comes to their current affairs and losing streaks past and present — is almost uncanny heading into Saturday’s homecoming matchup at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Both teams are riding long conference losing skids that have featured a mixture of slap downs and soul-crushing narrow losses.
The Razorbacks (2-6, 0-4 SEC), in their fourth game under interim coach Bobby Petrino, have lost six consecutive games and seven in a row in SEC play since Oct. 26, 2024.
Mississippi State (4-4, 0-4 SEC), on a four-game losing streak, has lost 16 consecutive SEC games, which is tied for the 11th-longest skid in conference history.
