Slocum, Davis lead Arkansas past UAPB

FAYETTEVILLE — Playing without senior guard and leading scorer Chelsea Dungee, No. 11 Arkansas cruised to an 86-52 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Bud Walton Arena on Monday.

The Razorbacks improved to 9-1 this season and picked up their sixth consecutive win to close the nonconference portion of the schedule.

Arkansas women's basketball radio play-by-play broadcaster Phil Elson tweeted prior to tipoff that Dungee is doing fine after banging her knee in Saturday’s road win over Arkansas-Little Rock. In her absence, guard Destiny Slocum led the Razorbacks with a game-high 18 points.

She was 7 of 12 from the floor, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range, and added three assists in the win.
